In the beginning... ...a race born in 1945 in northern Sweden: the 10MILA. It now attracts more than 8000 participants for a one-of-a-kind night-time orienteering race. This annual event is open to all and is a perfect blend of the passion for sport and the passion for the outdoors. Since 2006, Petzl, already known as the headlamp specialist, has participated in, listened to and watched this style of race. They then decided to take up their own challenge: to design,develop and manufacture a headlamp that would allow everyone to push their limits...
